22cal-Hodag Sports Club-ARA Matches

Every Tuesday at 3pm and on the second Saturday of each month at 10am, we shoot .22lr rifles from a bench using bags, bipods, and rests at 11" x 17" paper targets posted at 50 yards. Each target has 25 bullseyes for score. Shooters have 20 minutes to put 1 shot in each bullseye.

A wide variety of guns can be used. The American Rimfire Association (ARA) defines "factory" and "unlimited" classes based on an MSRP of $1250 for guns in current production (or on the approved list) for factory guns. Unlimited guns can be heavily modified. Each class has it's own target (slightly bigger bullseyes for factory) and separate rankings: Club Champion, State Champion and National Champion.

Shooters do a one-time, free registration at both ARA and Practiscore for full access to all of the online tools and features.
