22cal-Hodag Sports Club-ARA Matches

Every Tuesday at 2pm and on the second Saturday of each month at 9:30am, we shoot .22lr rifles from a bench using bags, bipods, and rests at 11" x 17" paper targets posted at 50 yards.  Each target has 25 bullseyes for score. Shooters have 20 minutes to put 1 shot in each bullseye.  Two cards on Tuesdays and six cards on Saturdays.  As many or few as you like.

A wide variety of guns can be used.  The American Rimfire Association (ARA) defines "factory" and "unlimited" classes based on an MSRP of $1450 for guns in current production or on the approved list for factory guns. Unlimited guns can be heavily modified. Each class has it's own target (slightly bigger bullseyes for factory) and separate rankings for Club Champion, State Champion and National Champion.   

The ARA site is the home for schedules, matches, results from matches and your season long score. Shooters do a one-time, free registration at ARA for full access to all of the online tools and features.  We can help you on match day - please arrive a bit early to get signed in.
